Kings open the season with a win!

The draft is done.  The captains have been picked.  The coaches have thier coffee (except Dennis who prefers putrid tea)

The team started the day with our own Remembrance Day ceremony outside of the rink, honoring those that made it possible for us to play this great game.

With that done, time to hit the ice for the first game of the season.  As all seasons do, we start out with a 'lets see what we have' game.  The coaches left the rink with smiles.

Captain Jayden Cormier opened the seasons scoring in the first, but the Kings would end up dropping to a 3-1 deficit.  Then something kicked in with the team...  Belli with a pair, Beach with a pair, Jackson with a notch, and Jetter shutting the door to a 6-3 win.  And the shock and awe show has begun!

We were able to get Scott Beach to slow down enough to present him with the PoG crown, before he left the rink at his usual Mach 3 speed.

So proud of this group!  Exhibition game tomorrow at he Keswick arena located in upper Mongolia.
