Blue Jackets defeat Heaters in comeback win!

The Blue Jackets knew they were going to be in tough against the Heaters in their final Year-end Tournament round-robin game, and it was a wild one.

The Blue Jackets came out fast and ready to play in this matchup and they took it to the Heaters getting some nice chances early and playing a great passing game. But it was the Heaters that got on the board first scoring late in the frame to take a 1-0 lead into the 1st intermission.

The Heaters had the momentum on their side at this point and took advantage of it. Despite a goal being disallowed due to the net being off its moorings, the Heaters score just 5-sec's later anyway to extend their lead by two. And add another goal less than a minute later to pull ahead by three. But quit is not in the Blue Jackets motto and in true Blue Jackets fashion, they continued to play and work hard, keeping up the pressure and fighting back into the game as #5 Brady 'Dr. Dangles' Lloy scores his first of the game just over a minute later to get the Blue Jackets on the board. And you could see the momentum swinging into the Blue Jackets favour, as #9 Jordan 'Nange' Donaldson bangs home a goal late in the frame as the Blue Jackets pull within one, down 3-2 as the second period ends.

But the Blue Jackets had the Heaters on their heels and kept up the pressure in the third, skating hard and bringing lots of offensive zone pressure. And that pressure led to goals as #5 Brady Lloy scores his second of the game halfway through the period. But he was not done, adding two more goals for a season high 4-goal game, and leading the team in a huge come-back victory as the Blue Jackets score 5 unanswered goals to defeat the Heaters.

Brady Lloy has the biggest game of his season, scoring 4 goals, while Jordan Donaldson adds a goal of his own and Graydon Mullin-Hachey has another outstanding game between the pipes , shutting the door and holding off any pressure the Heaters tried to muster.
