Blue Jackets feeling the Blues

The Blue Jackets didn't come out with the same fire as their previous game, and it ends up putting them behind a goal early. But they begin to get things rolling and #8 Griffin 'G Man' Sears roofs home a beauty to tie the game. Unfortunately the Blues score another late in the frame, as the Blue Jackets see themselves down 2-1 at the first break.

Despite a good effort by the Blue Jackets in the second period, they are unable to add to their goal total and find themselves down by 3 as the scond period ends; 4-1 Blues

Whatever the coaches said during the second intermission sure put a spark under the Blue Jackets for the third period as they dominated the play throughout and pull within one goal, as #5 Brady 'Dr. Dangles' Lloy scores two beauty goals within a minute of each other. It looked like they were gonna pull off a huge comeback win, but unfortunately ran outta time and goals.

Brady 'Dr. Dangles' Lloy scores two goals, #8 Griffin 'G Man' Sears adds a goal, #31 Graydon '31 Rocks' Mullin-Hachey has a outstanding game but it was the stellar defensive play by Birthday Girl #4 Katherine 'Lil Rocket' Gaudet, who played a huge game defending the net, breaking up passes, standing up players at the blue line  and throwing her weight around that earned her the player of the game honours... awesome game Lil Rocket!!
