Sussex, N.B.: The DQ Blizzards are playing high quality hockey with tremendous effort from offense, defense, and between the pipes. DQ should be very proud of their recent success - Let's keep the momentum going forward!  Well done Blizzards!!!

Semi-Final vs Fredericton Wildcats
Anything you can do, DQ can do better...Yes we can!!!  DQ matched the Wildcats goal for goal.  Wildcats would score, then DQ would score on the following play.  The Blizzards left league rivals standing on the ice in stunned silence after the 5-4 victory in the semi-final game.  Wildcats will no longer overlook the Blizzards - 4th place in the FYHA standings is in our grasp.
  • Player of the Game:  #33 Riley Partington
  • Hardest Worker: The DQ Blizzards Team!
Championship vs Fredericton Kent Kanucks
The Blizzards out-skated and out-played the Kanucks in the championship game.  However, sometimes hockey can be a cruel, cruel game.  Sometimes, the puck bounces the wrong way and you end up tied after regulation play.  After 5 minutes of overtime, the gold medal would be decided by a shootout.  The Kanucks eventually ended the Blizzards 6-game winning streak and took the gold, while the Blizzards earned a well-deserved silver medal.
