Wildcats have a taste for a DQ Blizzard

On Sunday, November 20th, the Nasis Y's Men Wildcats were in Fredericton for a home game and hungry for a win against the DQ Blizzards.

Anxious to get their offensive wheels turning, the Wildcats wasted no time in getting on the scoreboard in a wild back-and-forth first period.  Scoring was opened by #15 Flynn, followed by #10 Harvey, then #13 McCloskey (assisted by #17 Theriault), and then #19 Clark.  In the second period, the Wildcats continued to press their advantage #2 Coy's marker, assisted by #10 Harvey and #18 Beach's highlight-reel goal assisted #14 Kilburn.  Although the Blizzard attempted a comeback in the 3rd period, this was shut down by insurance goals from #3 Rusk on his break-away goal and then #15 Flynn, assisted by #3 Rusk.  Final score was 8-3 Wildcats.

Offensive players of the game for weekend were #3 Rusk and #9 Brewer.  Defensive players of the game for the weekend were #17 Theriault and #4 Smith.
