Atom A Kent Kanucks take home the Silver Medal !! We would like to thank Steve Burns and all the tournament staff for doing such a great job. Thanks to all the families, friends and all the other teams who came out to support the Kanucks in the Final Championship game.

What a great weekend for the Atom A Kent Kanucks.  The Kanucks had a very successful tournament bringing home the Silver medal !!  We would like to thank Steve Burns and all the tournament staff for doing such a great job.  Thanks for all the support from families, friends and all the other teams who came out to support the Kanucks in the Final Championship game.  We appreciate it !!

Game 1 vs Casco Bay – The Kanucks came out ready to play, they played hard and continued to pressure Casco Bay not letting in any goals. Final score was 5-0 for the Kanucks. Both Arsenault and Hawley spent equal time in the net and both goalies maintained a shut out !!

Sturgeon – 1 assisted by Graham / 1 unassisted
Snowdon – assisted by Hay
Benoit - unassisted
Donald – unassisted

Game 2 vs DQ Blizzards – Both teams came out strong and ready to win. The game ended in a 4-4 tie. Great effort by both teams.

Forward – assisted by Hay
Hannay – assisted by Sturgeon
Sturgeon – assisted by Kyle
Graham – unassisted

Game 3 vs Wildcats – The Wildcats maintained the pressure with the Kanucks, very tight game but the Kanucks took the win with a 2-1 score.

Graham – assisted by Shao
Sturgeon – assisted by Hannay & Snowdon

Game 4 vs Mid-Isle Matrix – The Kanucks took a hard loss to this team. Final score 8-2 for the Matrix

Snowdon – unassisted
Sturgeon – unassisted

Semi – Finals vs Lions – After the hard loss the night before, the Kanucks came out strong and hard against the Fredericton Lions taking a 7-1 win.

Goals:
Hay – assisted by Snowdon
Graham – assisted by Sturgeon
Hannay – 2 unassisted
Sturgeon – 1 unassisted / 1 assisted by Forward
Quesnel – assisted by Hill & Donald

Finals vs Mid–Isle Matrix – The Kanucks continued to work hard against the Matrix but couldn't manage to get any goals. The Kanucks went home with a Silver Medal. They had a great tournament and played hard. Both Goalies Arsenault and Hawley did an amazing job during this tournament. Both took a lot of shots and stayed positive throughout the entire tournament.
