2016-2017 Nasis Y's Men Wildcats in Exhibition Action

In pre-season action, your Nasis Y's Men Wildcats took on the Oromocto Eagles in a spirited first game of the season for the Wildcats in Oromocto.  Unfortunately, the Wildcats were bested by the Eagles this time, with a final score of 6-4.  First period goal was scored by #15 Flynn, assisted by #19 Clark.  Second period goal was scored by #13 McCloskey (unassisted).  Third period goals were scored by #15 Flynn, assisted by #11 Ferdinand and then #18 Beach from #10 Harvey.  Goaltending duties were split between #1 Paterson and #30 McGinn.

In a second pre-season game, the Nasis Y's Men Wildcats took on the York North Coyotes at the Upper Nashwaak Agrena in Stanley, NB.  Still stinging from their loss in Oromocto, the Wildcats were looking to unleash some of their offensive potential.  In the first period, #19 Clark scored, with an assist to #10 Harvey.  Then #17 Theriault scored, with help from #12 Pearson.  In the second period, #2 Coy lit the lamp assisted by #4 Smith, then #2 Coy again struck this time with help from #9 Brewer.  In the third, the Wildcats lit things up with #2 earning his hat from #15 Flynn and #5 Sherstenka.  Then #2 Coy again from #15 Flynn and #3 Rusk.  This was followed by an unassisted marker by #15 Flynn, and then another #15 score from #3 Rusk.  Wildcats scoring was closed out by #13 McCloskey, assisted by #18 Beach.  The final score was 8-3 in favour of the Wildcats.
