The Christmas Tournament has been a challenge for the Wings....still clinging to hope of a possible playoff position

The Red Wings played 3 games in the Christmas Tournament and have had a mix bag of results.

Game 1-vs Penguins - the Wings came out hard and kept the pressure on the Penguins, earning Grayden his 2nd shutout of the season with a 2-0 win.

Game 2 - vs Hawks - The Wings had to play a second game on the same day but failed to continue their strong play and let the Pesky Hawks dictate the play...the Wings pulled their goalie late and Will was able to beat the goalie with under a second left to squeak out a 4-4 tie.

Game 3- vs Wild -  This was by far one of the Wings best efforts however a couple of unlucky bounces and a hot goalie in the Wilds net ended with the Red Wings losing 2-1.

The Golden Moment:  The Golden Player of Game 3, was the rookie defenseman Blazer, who absolutely shut down the opposition and had by far his best game of the season!!!   Great game Blazer!
