Red Wings Battled Hard in 2 games on Saturday!

The Red Wings had 2 games on Saturday, and both games were tough games.

Game #1: Against the Penguins, was a struggle for the Wings, however the Red Wings were able to get out of the game with a 1-1 tie.

Game #2: Against the Senators, was a battle between two good teams.  The action went back and forth and the Wings had a 1-0 lead going into the 3rd period.  Unfortunately, one of the Senators defenseman got in on the Wings net and sniped the tying goal.  The final was 1-1.

This closes out the first half of the season and the Wings will enter the Christmas playoffs as the #1 seed.  Coaches are happy with the teams overall play, but are excited to have a couple practices coming up!

GOLDEN MOMENT: Ryan Mallais was the player of the game with his best effort this season by far!  Ryan was flying all over the ice and was helping out in both the offensive and defensive end of the ice.  Great Job Ryan, keep up the great work!!!
