FYHA Atom Furies take the Atom A title at the 10th Annual DQ Female Tournament

It was a great weekend of hockey for the FYHA Atom C Furies at the 10th Annual DQ All-Female Tournament.  In a 5-2 decision in the final game in their 7 team division.  The first game saw the Furies against the Dartmouth Blues with a 6-0 shutout thanks to Furies Goalie #29 Amber McFawn.  The second game then saw the Furies continue to show their strong effort in a 4-2 win against the Dartmouth Whalers.  As a result of thier strong finish on day 1, the Furies were given a by to the semi-final game on Sunday morning which saw them back in action against the Dartmouth Whalers with a 4-1 decision.  The final game saw the Furies against the North River Flames from PEI.  This game ended in a 5-2 win for the Furies!  Way to go Furies!
