Ice Dogs sweep home at home series against the Eagles.
The Ice Dogs continue to build on their team game and put another strong effort up against the Eagles to sweep the Hone-and-Home series.
Despite being out-shot in the first period the Ice Dogs managed to take the first frame 2-1 with Crouse holding his ground between the pipes and making some great saves. The Ice Dogs flipped the script in the second out-shooting the Eagles and putting up another pair of goals. The Ice Dogs ran into penalty trouble in the 3rd giving the Eagles no less than four opportunities to get back into the game. Jacob T-Mac and the Ice Dogs defenders had a few huge penalty killing shifts to keep the Eagles from doing much damage.
The Ice Dogs earn another big 2 points with the 5-2 win and bring their record to 2-2-1 on the season. The Ice Dogs look to hunt for another 2 points this Sunday in a tilt with the York North Coyotes.
