Female Ice Session - August 20th

FYHA would like to invite all Atom and Peewee female members to a pre-season “Skills and Drills” on August 20^th at Grant-Harvey.  This ice time will be followed by an information session outlining FYHA’s plans for girls hockey and the upcoming season for the “Furies.” Ice time will be from 5:30-6:30 at the Grant-Harvey NHL.  Parents and players meeting will immediately follow, upstairs in the community room and should last no longer than 20-30 minutes (depending on questions.)
 
The on ice portion will be fun session with drills and games for all skill levels. If your daughter hasn’t played before but would like to, this is a great opportunity to try an “all girls” setting. We are looking to have two girls teams (1 Atom, 1 Peewee) next season to play out of the Southern New Brunswick Female Hockey League. This ice session will be used to gauge interested in the program.
 
Gatorade has come on board to help sponsor a new set of uniforms and FYHA is dedicated to promoting the growth of the Furies program and the development of girls hockey at the grassroots level.
